[Rely on Teachers to Learn the Dharma]
To truly and genuinely learn the Dharma, we must base our goals on “liberation from life and death” and the “attainment of Buddhahood”. Only Buddhas know the methods of achieving the goals. Therefore, to truly and genuinely learn the Dharma to be liberated from life and death, we must rely on excellent teachers who pass on the essence of all of the Buddha’s teachings.
