How do beginners recognise excellent teachers? The simplest method is to determine if he has inherited the pure and pristine lineage from the line of succession of the Buddha. It includes the lineages of upholding the Pure Dharma and realisations of the True Teachings. From the Buddha, the lineages have been passed down in continuity without intermission.
