【光明理路–相應的行相】
所以真正想修行的人，要知道什麼是教理相應、行持相應。
所謂教理相應，並不只是把教理背得很熟，而是從內心理解、認可佛陀告訴我的生命真理，並將其領納於心，而且願意依教奉行。
那什麼是行持相應？為了這樣的宗旨（即是為利有情願成佛），努力去實踐，並把所有功德都迴向於此，乃至願意為其付出生命，這就是行持相應。

[Concordant Conduct]
Genuine practitioners need to understand the significance of being concordant with Buddhism teachings and practising in accordance with the teachings.

To be concordant with Buddhism teachings, besides committing the teachings to memory well, we need to understand and concur with what the Buddha taught us regarding the truths of life, which we ought to internalise in our hearts and minds, and be willing to practise according to the teachings.

What is practising in accordance with the teachings? It is striving to realise the purpose (to attain Buddhahood in order to benefit sentient beings). In addition, dedicate all the merits towards this purpose, and even be willing to sacrifice our lives for it. This is practising in accordance with the teachings.
