當聽到師長以我不熟悉的經論作解釋時，不應心生退卻，而是要了解師長正是以大悲心引導我，為我生生世世能廣學經論種下因種，讓我熏習法的習氣，以啟發更大的希求心，甚至是發願淨罪集資，進而廣學教理。

[Plant Karmic Seeds of Vast Learning]
When we hear teachers explaining with scriptures and commentaries which we are unfamiliar with, do not retreat or withdraw, but to understand that our teachers are guiding us with great compassion; they are planting the seeds of karmic cause for us, so that we could undertake vast learning of scriptures and commentaries life after life. They are nurturing us and helping us to develop habitual tendencies for learning the Dharma, so that we could be inspired for an even greater yearning for the teachings, and to further our education in Buddhism, even to the extent of making an aspiration to purify non-virtues and accumulate merits.
