【修行一定要靠聽聞】
修行一定要靠聽聞，也就是沿著師長教導的理路，去校對我們的內心是否相應。如果拼命用功而忽視了聽聞，是非常大的錯誤。
聽聞正法，用正確的教理衡準自己的修行。聽懂了，就能越衡量得越準確；修對了，就會越修越歡喜。

[Cultivation Must Be Based On Listening To Teachings]
Cultivation has to be based on listening to teachings, that is, examining if our minds are in concordant with the lines of thinking or views taught by excellent teachers. Being greatly studious yet overlooking listening to teachings is a huge grave mistake.

Listen to Buddhism teachings and apply correct teachings to evaluate our own cultivation. If we have listened and comprehended, the more we evaluate, the more accurately we can evaluate. If we practise correctly, the more we practise, the more joyfully we will practise.
