AWESOME EFFORT TO SHARE THIS KINDNESS INITIATIVE:
Lift someone’s spirits today by treating them to a meal! 100 restaurants have come together for Project Belanja, a meal voucher programme to help the needy in our community. All you have to do is donate and our beneficiaries will receive a voucher that they can exchange for a good meal.
Project Belanja is an initiative by Blossom World Society and the Restaurant Association of Singapore . The first beneficiaries are Itsrainingraincoats and Daughters Of Tomorrow – Building Livelihoods for Women in Need
The outbreak of COVID-19 has left its mark on different areas of our lives. During our community outreach programme, we have noticed that certain groups, like migrant workers and low-income families, are being put through an emotional rollercoaster as they worry about their livelihoods and feel increased pressure of ensuring that food is put on the table.
Showing care and concern for another person can go a long way. We feel that one good way to lighten their load would be to treat them to a hearty meal. In the process, we also generate positive vibes with our community partners!
