I believe many like me have had our own moments of unpleasant emotions towards our parents.
The speaker for today’s Sunday Puja, Mr Patrick Yeo gave a very touching sharing about how a virtuous guru helped him mend his strained relationship with his mother.
So apt on the death anniversary of our guru that Mr Yeo pays tribute to Master Venerable Jih-Chang for melting the ice frozen for decades between him and his mother.
Mr Yeo did his repentance towards the Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva for all the negative emotions and harsh or hurtful words said to his mother.
Now, Mr Yeo shares an enduring relationship with his mother!
Rejoice to his courage in sharing his experience with us.
In my heart, I apologised to my loved ones whom I have hurt in one way or another!
I AM SORRY.
I LOVE YOU DEARLY!
MAY YOU BE WELL AND HAPPY!
For Chinese Puja, the speakers Mr and Mrs Tan Tong Eng shared how we can rely on the compassionate Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva when we are in danger or in a difficult situation for strength and blessings.
If we have strong faith and pure motivation, the Bodhisattva will manifest in different ways to give assistance.
Like the speakers, I have in the past had difficult situations where I turned to Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva in prayer!
To our surprise, our prayers were answered in different ways! GRATEFUL TO THE COMPASSIONATE BODHISATTVA FOR LENDING US A HELPING HAND AT OUR TIME OF NEED!
May Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva bless us to learn her compassionate ways towards all sentient beings, especially towards our loved ones.
