Some were living in the neighbourhood and dropped by to see the new monastery and what we had to offer.

Others saw the monastery being built from scratch since 2 years ago to its current magnificient facade. They say that they had to come in and take a peek.

We had children, youth, adults and the elderly. They were ladies as well as gentlemen! Many were Buddhists while some were free thinkers. Some wanted to know what courses they can take in the monastery while others wants their family members or friends to take the courses we have!

Little did I know, the exhibition became an excellent place to meet the needs of these people who arrive to hear us share about the merits of the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha!

I am glad that through the exhibition, we at least 70 people who signed up for different Buddhist courses since we counted on 19 Aug 2017. Thus, the Training and Development Division decided to extend the exhibition for a week till 27 Aug 2017 based on the positive feedback.

Over the extension period, there were times when we were down to only 3 narrators as compared to the 8 narrators per 2-hour shifts during the double opening weeks, the narrtors on duty did their best to make the visitors feel at home and welcomed while sharing the merits of the Triple Gems.

Over the period of three weeks, we had trained and deployed about 80 narrators who served 2 to 4 hours per day. We operated on 4 shifts perday on 11, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27 Aug. Many more left their contact numbers during the extended week as they would like to be informed about upcoming activities ahead. KUDOS and REJOICE!
